Visiting DC was a wonderful experience and a whirlwind of a weekend. Having never had my “eighth grade trip” or seen the sights of DC, I was thrilled to accompany Benjamin for the weekend to photograph two amazing couples. We made the most of our 48 hour trip, seeing the statues, tasting amazing food and finding the local treasures of DC. I tried to temper my first time excitement and blend into the city while soaking up the details. However, my over excited tourist heart definitely came out as I was constantly taking and posting pictures (check out my instagram if you don’t believe me). I look forward to visiting DC in the future, to enjoy even more fabulous restaurants, historical land marks and museums. Please enjoy some of our favorite sites and images below!

Thoroughly enjoyed meeting Josh and Lauren and capturing their story on the National Mall and at the Smithsonian. Check out their engagement shoot!

It was an honor to visit the WWII memorial and remember the brave men and women who fought fearlessly.

Spending time with Jenni + Sumit was absolutely delightful! We not only enjoyed making beautiful images but we also earned an amazing discount on some froyo in the 14th street corridor! See Jenni + Sumit’s engagement post here.
I love watching Benjamin as he works with clients. He is an amazing artist and captures such a beautiful, personal and unique story with each couple.
April, 2013 \\ Washington, DC \\ The more I look at this frame the more I love the variety of experiences it expresses. Some people come to walk around, to congregate, some for exercise, for a place to read, some to pay their respects, some to stand at attention one last time, to remember.

The first and last ones are special! (Not implying that the rest aren’t, just that those stick out to me the most.)
Love all of the doors and gates. It’s so symbolic. I can’t wait to meet you at the wedding!
Love Love Love!
April, 2013 \\ Washington, DC \\ A few weeks ago we went out to DC to do some engagement sessions of some amazing couples! We explored the city, experienced art, and ate (so much) amazing food! We’ll be blogging it this week. Just wanted to let you know it was coming ;)

I love my nephews. I have had the privilege of being present for all of their births and I could not be a more proud auntie and sister. (check my twitter & instagram if you don’t believe me).
Nearly one month ago, we all celebrated the birth of my 3rd nephew, Titus Scott Krueger. As I held him for the first time, I was overwhelmed with tears of joy and love for such a special little boy.
“To Titus, my true child in common faith:Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.” Titus 1:4

My sister Ashley is an amazing mother, so kind, loving and nurturing.

At the ripe old age of 2, Big brother Ezekiel was SO excited to meet Baby Ti! He loves to help mom and dad take extra special care of his new little brother!

Grandma Meyer, enjoying every minute with her grandsons. Also learning how to use her iPad from these little tech savvy boys.

All 3 of my beautiful nephews!! One more niece or nephew to come this July!
As our family has now grown to 14, we filled the little hospital room with LOTS of love and laughter.

Wow! These are AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing Benj & Jenn! We are so blessed! :)
Wow! These are awesome images from such a special time in our family! Thanks so much Jenn for posting these, and Benj and Jenn for capturing all of the emotion and experience of this special occasion with your beautiful images!
Such a sweet little baby born into what is obviously a family full of warmth and love. After a rough week in the world thank you for sharing images that remind us of God’s goodness–prayers that he may continue to bless your family!

April 2013 \\ Austin, Texas \\ Adam and Christine’s beautiful wedding, captured by the Hasselblad 500C

I am straight-up swooning over these. Particularly that first portrait of Adam and the close-up of just Christine. And the two following the one of just Christine. And the last one. And … all the rest. Good job.
I love them so much Benjamin! They are AMAZING! The ones of my cousin Tim and Joel look like they came out of GQ :D lol
Absolutely love the photos! You both look so good and so happy – makes me feel happy! Hope every day of your life together makes you feel this good! Love you a lot! AS
